ElementGold Prep Support is Low-Residue Meal Shake formulated to accompany bowel prep regimes that you undergo before a colonoscopy. It is formulated to provide energy, electolytes and other nutritients, whilst still allowing the bowel preparation to be effective.
Prior to a colonoscopy you will undergo a bowel preparation regime (such as Plenvu, Moviprep, PrepKit C) to clear the GI tract to allow a successful colonoscopy. Eating unsuitable food at the wrong time before or during the prep can result in a failed bowel preparation which is why instructions about what kinds of food you can eat are supplied with your bowel prep. ElementGold Prep Support is formulated as a food that can be used as an alternative to many of the foods suggested as being suitable whilst undergoing your bowel prep. It is formulated to be low residue and low trigger whilst providing protein and carbohydrate to help with hunger and electolytes and vitamins to help replace what might be lost through bowel emptying.
A serve of ElementGold Prep Support is made by mixing 100g (3 of the included scoop) with 250 mL of cold water and shaking or blending (on low speed) until mixed. The 400 g tub has enough powder for 4 x 1550 KJ (370 kcal) shakes.
