100% pure stevia extract with no other blended ingredients. Stevia is a natural sweetener extracted from the leaves of the plant Stevia rebaudiana. Pure stevia is several hundred times sweeter to the taste than sugar. As an example, when sweeteing a serve of ElementGold Plus+, a typical amount added is about the volume of a matchstick head.
Due to this very high sweetness concentration, many supermarket versions of stevia are padded out with other ingredients to match the volume of sugar. This high quality stevia also has less of the bitter aftertaste sometimes associated with stevia products.
